Second Annual Yoga Retreat With Lisa Glassman of Active Potential Set June 23-25 at Better Farm

The North Country welcomes back yoga instructor, massage therapist, personal trainer, crossfit coach and Active Potential founder Lisa Glassman for her second annual yoga retreat at Better Farm, scheduled June 23-25.

The weekend kicks off Friday night with a welcome meal, yoga and bonfire, with sessions planned throughout Saturday, as well as a morning session Sunday before departure.

The schedule (subject to slight changes accordingly to weather or new programming being added) is as follows:

Friday

  • 3-6 p.m. Check in, explore farm, massage sessions available
  • 6:30 p.m. Farm welcome: The Fundamentals of Sustainability
  • 7 p.m. Dinner
  • 8:30 p.m. Sunset yoga
  • 10 p.m. Bonfire and fire meditation

Saturday

  • 8 a.m. Morning meditation and breathwork
  • 8:30 a.m. Breakfast
  • 9:30 a.m. Farm tour: the animals
  • 10:30 a.m. Walking meditation and intention setting
  • 11 a.m. Alpaca asana: yoga with alpacas
  • 12:30 p.m. Lunch
  • 2-6 p.m. Free time: hiking, kayaking, swimming, relaxing, massage sessions available
  • 6:30 p.m. Vinyasa yoga: a moving meditation
  • 7:30 p.m. Dinner
  • 9:15 p.m. Restorative yoga
  • 10 p.m. Bonfire and chanting

Sunday

  • 7 a.m. Optional farm duties
  • 8:30 a.m. Morning meditation
  • 9 a.m. Peaceful warrior practice: Harness your inner wisdom and power
  • 10:30 a.m. Brunch
  • 11:30 a.m. Closing reflection and intention

Cost includes shared, furnished cabin or bedroom space (preference will be on a first-come, first-served basis), farm tour, all meals (100% organic, farm-to-table vegetarian), all necessary equipment (you are also welcome to bring your own mats), materials for all activities, and includes kayak and bicycle rentals and/or art supplies during free time. $200 for weekend, $90 for Saturday pass only (no lodging, includes meals), $15 alpaca visyana session Saturday, $20 for alpaca session with lunch immediately following.
