Field Trips at Better Farm

We love hosting field trips! We welcomed Autumn this yearwith the help of some wonderfully curious, silly, smart, engaged humans. This field trip focused on animal time, arts ‘n’ crafts, gardening skills, and even some time on-air in the Better Radio station.

Typical field trips at Better Farm run 2-3 hours and include:

  • Time with the animals who found sanctuary here: pigs, horses, alpacas, chickens, dogs, turkey, and duck

  • The opportunity to record a “spot” on our radio station (if any of the students sing or play an instrument, they’re welcome to perform on-air if they like!)

  • Open arts ’n’ crafts time in our Art Barn (basic art supplies for coloring, sketching, collaging, or painting will be out on tables for unstructured time to create)

  • Picnic area to enjoy a snack
